Projekt se věnuje zatím jen málo zkoumanému hnutí Říšských občanů, které je dnes zastoupené ve všech německojazyčných zemích. Hnutí zpochybňuje legitimitu státu a jeho reprezentantů, a to i s použitím násilí. Dosavadní skrovné výsledky vědeckého výzkumu tohoto fenoménu akcentovaly většinou jeho administrativní aspekty. Předkládaný projekt si na rozdíl od již zveřejněných badatelských výsledků klade za cíl prozkoumat prostřednictvím analýzy jazykových specifik a typických argumentačních vzorců vyskytujících se v textech Říšských občanů jejich politicko-ideologické pozadí. Na základě reprezentativního korpusu textů z internetových fór bude jazyková analýza probíhat v rovině lexikální, textové a diskurzivní. Identifikace jazykových specifik Říšských občanů umožní jejich srovnání s podobnými skupinami, jako např. s pravicovými extremisty. Projekt bude dále zkoumat význam konspiračních teorií pro jazykově argumentační sebeprezentaci a vytváření identity hnutí Říšských občanů a stejně tak i otázku, kam lze toto hnutí z hlediska argumentačních vzorců mezi protestními kulturami zařadit.

Sprachliche Spezifika der Reichsbürgerbewegung

Das Vorhaben widmet sich dem aktuellen, aber in der Forschung noch wenig beachteten Phänomen der Reichsbürger. Bisher wurden Reichsbürger vornehmlich als administratives Problem wahrgenommen, da sie die Legitimität des Staates und seiner Repräsentanten infrage stellen. Die spärliche bisherige wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung fokussiert meist auf diese Aspekte. Das Projekt beabsichtigt im Unterschied dazu, die politisch-ideologischen Hintergründe über die Analyse sprachlicher Spezifika und Argumentationsmuster reichsbürgerlicher Texte zu erschließen. Auf der Basis eines aussagekräftigen Korpus von Texten aus einschlägigen Foren im Internet erfolgt die sprachliche Analyse sukzessive auf den drei Ebenen Lexik, Text und Diskurs. Die Identifizierung von Spezifika ermöglicht auch den Vergleich mit ähnlichen Gruppen wie Rechtsextremisten. Ferner wird die Rolle von Verschwörungstheorien für die sprachlich-argumentative Selbstdarstellung und Identitätsstiftung ebenso untersucht wie die Frage, wie die Reichsbürgerbewegung in sprachliche Muster von Protestkulturen einzuordnen ist.

Linguistic specifics of the Reich citizenship movement

The project is dedicated to the current phenomenon of Reich citizenship, which has received little attention in research. Today the movement of the Reich Citizens is present in all German speaking countries and questions the legitimacy of the state and its representatives, even by violent means. The sparse scientific debate to date has mostly focused on administrative aspects. In contrast, the project intends to explore the political-ideological background by analyzing the linguistic specifics and argumentation patterns of texts on the Reich Citizens. On the basis of a meaningful corpus of texts from relevant forums on the Internet, the linguistic analysis is carried out successively on the three levels of lexis, text and discourse. The identification of specifics also enables comparison with similar groups such as right-wing extremists. Furthermore, the role of conspiracy theories for linguistic-argumentary selfrepresentation and identity-foundation is examined as well as the question of how the Reich Citizens' movement can be classified in linguistic patterns of protest cultures.
